After years of making albums, I found that this album came from a deeper place than ever before.  Leaving out the vocals for this instrumental album wasn’t a subtraction; it allowed space for the unexpected voices of the instruments to emerge. It carried me on a new creative journey.  I feel like I was not just a musician or writer, but a participant as the music took on a life of its own.
