"This is an experiment with music and abstract paint.  As a composer, I see colors, shapes, and textures when I write music. As a painter, I hear tones, melodies, and harmonic sounds when I paint.  This project shows the interaction of the two mediums in one of their shared, fundamental qualities: movement.  The music's arpeggiating motive is choreographed with fluid painting techniques." - Eric Owyoung
