Hi Friends,

I find myself dwelling on two things: 1). The past, when our world felt "normal." 2). The future, when the world might feel "normal" again. One of the hardest places to be right now is the present.

I have to remind myself that connection to God doesn't happen in the past or the future. He is here with me in the present. And although this COVID-19 pandemic feels like the most un-Christmas-like time imaginable, I keep thinking of phrases like "He dwelt among us" or "peace on earth." Those words feel so necessary in desperate times.

I have contributed my fair share of worrying during this pandemic. My greater question is, "How can I contribute something positive and meaningful?" To answer that question, I put some other projects on pause to bring you instrumental music in the spirit of "peace on earth." It may not have the power to change the course of the virus nor the suffering that is around us. But music has a way of bringing us back into the present where God waits to comfort and bring light to us amid the darkness. May it bring you peace and hope today.
