An Interview with Producer Pete Kipley
I had the opportunity to re-connect with an old friend and music producer, Pete Kipley. A few years ago, we both lived in San Diego for a season and found ourselves bonding in several subjects including music and producing. This week, I thought it would be fun for Pete and I to record a long distance conversation for you guys and chat about life as a producer.
We talked for about an hour, and within our conversation, I think there is something for everyone in it. We cover some bases by gleaning from Pete’s story and how he ended up in the music business. We also get into some technical things such as editing vocals.
Please feel free to skip around if you like...I’ve delineated the conversation with subject headings for you guys. Thanks for joining us Pete and music fans!
